The shortlisting criteria for selection out of all eligible applicants  into the first essay round of the admissions process are as follows.  Qualifying degree as M.A. (NIRF* 2020 top 30 rank Universities) or equivalent Category                                            Minimum percentage/CGPA General/ GEN-EWS/OBC         > 65% or 6.5/10 SC/ST/PH                                         > 60% or 6/10 Qualifying degree as B.TECH (NIRF* 2020 top 30 rank Engineering institutions) or equivalent Category                                   Minimum percentage/CGPA General/ GEN-EWS/OBC       > 70% or 7/10 SC/ST/PH > 65% or 6.5/10 Qualifying degree as M.TECH (NIRF* 2020 top 30 rank Engineering institutions) or equivalent Category                                   Minimum percentage/CGPA General/ GEN-EWS/OBC > 75% or 7.5/10 SC/ST/PH > 70% or 7/10 Qualifying degree as M.Sc / M.A. (all institutions other than NIRF 2020 top 30 ranked Universities) or equivalent Ca
